Flu Vaccination Clinics 2026/2027

Flu vaccination clinics will be available across Crawcrook, Blaydon, and Grange Road surgeries

 

When will clinics start?

 

From 1st October 2026

 

Patients aged 65 and over will be able to receive their vaccination from this date.

 

From 12th October 2026

 

Eligible patients aged 6 months to 64 years will be able to receive their vaccination from this date.

 

Who is eligible for a Free NHS Flu Vaccination

 

You may be eligible if you:

 

  • Are aged 65 years or over (including those who will turn 65 by 31st March 2027)
  • Are aged 18 to 64 years and have certain long-term health conditions
  • Are pregnant
  • Live in a care home
  • Are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive Carer’s Allowance
  • Live with someone who has a weakened immune system
  • Are experiencing homelessness or staying in a homeless hostel or night shelter

 

Booking your appointment

 

Eligible patients will soon be invited to book their flu vaccination appointment.

 

You will be contacted using your preferred method of communication recorded on your medical record, either by:

 

  • SMS text message with a booking link
  • Invitation letter
  • Telephone call
