Please find below important information about Mounjaro for weight loss:
Only a small group of patients will be eligible for Mounjaro at first. You must meet strict NHS criteria detailed in the following link Weight loss drugs - information for patients which includes a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or more and have at least four of the following conditions:
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol or high fat levels in the blood
- Sleep apnoea (trouble breathing while asleep)
- Heart disease
- Type 2 diabetes
